Refund Policy 

1. Purpose 

This policy defines the refund principles for all payments made to  Algorithm Innovations Ltd , including software projects, digital products, and online transactions processed through our platforms, websites, or partner systems. 

The purpose is to ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in handling all client and customer refund requests while protecting the Company from abuse or loss due to digital product misuse. 

2. Scope 

This policy applies to: 

  • All online purchases made through Algorithm Innovations platforms (e.g., Algorithm Institute, NextGen, or affiliated e-learning platforms). 
  • All payments for digital products such as courses, e-books, software licenses, templates, and subscriptions. 
  • All professional services, including custom software development, hosting, and maintenance. 
  • All refunds processed through payment gateways, banks, or direct transfers managed by Algorithm Innovations Ltd. 

3. General Refund Principles 

A.  Transparency: Clients and users have the right to request refunds in accordance with the conditions of this policy. 
B.  Fairness: Refunds are evaluated objectively, based on the type of product or service purchased. 
C.  Digital Integrity: Because most Algorithm products are  digital and instantly accessible , refunds are limited once access or download has been granted. 

4. Refund Eligibility Categories

Refund Eligibility 

A. Custom Projects (Software, Web, Mobile) 

Tailored design or system built for a specific client. 

Refund only before project kickoff or in cases of non-delivery. 

B. Online Course Purchases 

Course or training program purchased from Algorithm Institute or other ALG platforms. 

Refund within 7 days  only if course progress is below 20% . No refund after certificates or downloads are issued. 

C. Digital Products 

Templates, source code, plugins, design kits, or downloadable materials. 

Non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. 

D. Subscriptions & Memberships 

Monthly or yearly plans for premium access, platform use, or support. 

Refund for  unused period if cancelled within 5 days of payment and before renewal cycle starts. 

E. Duplicate or Accidental Payments 

Accidental multiple transactions or payment system errors. 

Full refund after payment verification by Finance. 

5. Non-Refundable Cases 

Refunds  will not be approved in the following situations: 

  • Once a  digital product or  course material has been downloaded or accessed. 
  • After a  service or  project milestone has been completed and delivered. 
  • When delay, dissatisfaction, or cancellation is caused by  client-side issues (e.g., lack of content, late feedback, or unresponsiveness). 
  • When  payment gateways have already processed and confirmed transactions beyond the reversal period. 
  • For  domain names, hosting, SSL certificates , or other third-party services already activated. 
  • For  subscriptions renewed automatically before user cancellation. 

6. Refund Request Procedure 

To request a refund, clients or users must follow these steps: 

  1. Submit a written request to  billing@algorithminnovations.com   or through the support portal. 
  2. Include: 
    • Full name and registered email 
    • Invoice or payment reference 
    • Description of purchase (product, course, or service) 
    • Reason for refund and supporting evidence (if any) 
  3. The  Finance Department will acknowledge receipt within  5 working days . 
  4. The  review process will take  up to 14 business days depending on the payment type. 
  5. The client will be informed of the outcome in writing. 

7. Refund Method & Processing Time 

  • Approved refunds will be issued using the  same payment channel (bank transfer, card, or gateway). 
  • Processing may take  7–14 business days , depending on the payment processor. 
  • Transaction or gateway charges are  non-refundable , except in the case of duplicate payments. 

8. Replacement & Store Credit Options 

Where direct refunds are not applicable,  Algorithm Innovations Ltd may provide: 

  • Equivalent store credit usable on any future purchase. 
  • Replacement digital products or course access of similar value. 
  • Extended platform access or bonus features as a goodwill adjustment. All such arrangements must be documented and approved by the Finance Team. 

9. Cancellation of Orders or Services 

  • Before Access or Start: Clients can cancel an order before access or project start for up to  90% refund (10% covers administrative processing). 
  • After Access or Delivery: No refunds apply once digital access is granted or service has commenced. 
  • Company-Initiated Cancellation: If Algorithm Innovations cancels a service or discontinues a product, the client is entitled to a full or prorated refund. 

10. Fraud Prevention & Abuse Control 

To prevent refund abuse: 

  • All requests are logged and reviewed by both  Finance and  Compliance Departments . 
  • Refund requests showing repeated misuse, false claims, or fraudulent intent may result in  account suspension and denial of future refunds. 

11. Enforcement 

This policy will be enforced by the  Finance & Accounts Department in coordination with  Customer Support and  Legal Affairs . Any exception to this policy must be approved in writing by Company Management.
